Documents required to buy a property in Turkey and transfer its ownership in the title deed department
1- An official document or title deed  that proves the property seller’s ownership of the property.

2- Identity card for the Turkish citizen, or the passport for the non-Turkish person, with a certificate of translation of the passport into Turkish, certified by the Turkish notary public.

3 The buyer’s tax number. This number is obtained from the Tax Department in Turkey, based on the

foreigner’s passport and its translation into Turkish, and he does not need any payments at that time.

4 -A bank account number with a Turkish bank. For a foreign person who wants to obtain Turkish citizenship as a result of owning a property, the price of the property must be paid through an official bank in US dollars, and then converted into Turkish currency and obtain a document called (döviz alım belgesi) that proves Transfer process, فhis document is obtained from the bank and presented within the transfer of ownership transaction.

5- Real estate appraisal report, which is extracted by the seller, and it is issued by one of the specialized and officially licensed companies, and it includes all information about the property also includes an estimate of its price according to the prevailing price. The validity of this report is limited to three months only from the date of its issuance.

6- An official power of attorney duly authenticated by the competent references, accompanied by a translation certificate into the Turkish language, certified by the Turkish notary (the notary). And that’s in the event of the presence of an agent on behalf of the person concerned, the seller or the buyer.
